Cloud

HPS Unified Cloud

Backend infrastructure for product access, licensing, usage control, and connected software services.

HPS Unified Cloud is the service layer behind Hidden Point Studio products. It connects purchases, licenses, subscriptions, activations, entitlements, updates, and future SaaS features into one controlled backend.

What It Does

The platform provides a central authority for verifying customer access, managing product permissions, enforcing activation limits, and connecting software installs to account-level rules.

Instead of every plugin, module, or product managing access alone, the backend handles product status, license state, entitlement checks, subscription state, and controlled feature availability.

License Validation

Confirms whether a license is active, expired, revoked, paused, limited, or tied to a specific product tier.

Activation Slots

Tracks allowed installs, site activations, fingerprints, and customer usage across WordPress sites or connected apps.

Entitlement Control

Determines which modules, packs, updates, downloads, features, or services a customer is allowed to access.

Payment Events

Connects Stripe purchase and subscription events to access changes, renewals, cancellations, failed payments, and future billing rules.

Usage Tracking

Supports future metering, credits, API limits, overage billing, customer activity records, and product-level usage history.

Product Delivery

Provides the foundation for secure updates, controlled downloads, product feeds, entitlement checks, and customer-facing software services.

What It Can Support

The system can support multiple Hidden Point Studio products from one backend, including BeaconWP, TokenFlow Engine, Lightframe, modules, visual packs, customer portals, update feeds, downloads, and future SaaS tools.

For BeaconWP, it can support module access, theme pack access, license validation, update authorization, diagnostics access, and cloud-connected features. For TokenFlow Engine, it can support entitlement logic, usage ledgers, token systems, automation rules, and payment-processor workflows.

Current Role

Today, the cloud acts as the licensing and entitlement backbone for Hidden Point Studio products. It helps connect purchases, product tiers, license keys, activation limits, and customer access into one managed system.

Future Role

Over time, it can grow into a broader platform for customer portals, software delivery, signed updates, usage billing, AI services, marketplace systems, telemetry, remote configuration, and white-label deployments.

Future Capabilities

  • Customer account and license portals
  • Signed software update authorization
  • Module and visual pack entitlement checks
  • Remote feature flags and product configuration
  • Usage credits, metering, and overage billing
  • Marketplace infrastructure for modules, packs, and third-party products
  • Cloud-connected diagnostics, telemetry, and health reporting
  • AI service routing for support bots, layout generators, and product assistants
  • White-label licensing and agency deployment systems
  • Centralized product delivery for the HPS ecosystem

Why It Matters

A serious software ecosystem needs more than individual products. It needs a backend that can control access, verify purchases, protect downloads, support subscriptions, and prepare for future services.

HPS Unified Cloud gives Hidden Point Studio that foundation while keeping the public products cleaner, lighter, and easier to expand.
