Book One

Orphans of Saint Ordrin: The Children Neb Took In

The published first novel in the Orphans of Saint Ordrin fantasy series.

Saint Ordrin’s Home for Wayward Children was never a place of comfort. It was where children were sent when families, towns, temples, and respectable people had decided they were someone else’s problem.

Seebo is small, brilliant, and carrying the blood of dragons beneath a body the world is quick to underestimate. Brad hides terrifying power behind confidence and sharp humor. Adrian hears the living world more clearly than he understands people. Roan is already growing into something too large, too strong, and too visibly different to pass unnoticed.

Each child carries a dangerous inheritance and a future no one around them fully understands. The world sees problems, threats, and bloodlines that should be feared. Beneath Saint Ordrin’s roof, however, the four begin learning how to survive one another, defend one another, and become a family held together by choice rather than blood.

That fragile safety cannot last. Beyond the orphanage waits a world filled with monsters, cruel men, hidden powers, and roads that were never meant to open. When the protection of Saint Ordrin is no longer enough, Seebo, Brad, Adrian, and Roan are pushed toward a future none of them could have imagined.

Their journey will cost them innocence, certainty, and people they believed would always be there. It will also reveal that none of them are ordinary children—and that the family formed at Saint Ordrin may one day become powerful enough to change entire worlds.

Orphans of Saint Ordrin: The Children Neb Took In begins an epic fantasy series about found family, dangerous inheritance, loyalty, loss, sacrifice, growing power, and four unwanted children who refuse to abandon one another.
